Shelby was born in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, California, center stage for Shelby's life was usually divided between her love of animals, the outdoors and dance theatre (she eventually performed on the college stage).
When family ties brought Shelby to central New Mexico, in 2003, she initially studied criminal justice for several semesters, while also volunteering at the animal shelter, becoming active at her church and working as a server at a local eatery.
Before too long, Shelby began to connect the genuine pleasure she had always felt from helping people, with her lifelong love of homes. Big homes and little homes... in all shapes and sizes. (She's one of those people whose idea of a great Sunday is to take off after church and drive around looking at Open Houses!) So, when it finally occurred to her that she could spend her time with lots of different houses, while also helping people and seeing them smile, and make a living at the same time—well, she knew what she had to do!
Shelby is a proud wife and mother. Her husband Bill and daughter are her foundation!
