1. What makes you a "new kind of realtor®" and what's the "new kind of realty"?

2. Why shouldn't I hire my "neighborhood specialist" or the Realtor® with the hundreds of "For Sale" signs all over town and the flashy advertising I see everywhere?

3. My last Realtor® warned me that "you get what you pay for" in real estate and that discount Realtors® charge less because they're desperate for business and they aren't very good Realtors®. So: who are you and why should I hire you?

4. Won't the seller take less for the home if I don't use any Realtor® at all?

5. Can't I pay even less to sell my home if I use a "Flat Fee," "Limited Service," or "MLS entry only" Realtor®?

1. What makes you a "new kind of realtor®" and what's the "new kind of realty"?

The "typical" Realtor® is still charging 6% to 7% to list your home for sale and is still taking every every penny of the typical 3% paid (by sellers) to help you buy your home. Only 2% of all Realtors®, nationwide, are willing to break the unwritten rules that set these commissions (Source: Newsweek, 7/18/05.) The number of discount Realtors® has been growing, but it's growing very slowly. I've been offering discounted realty services in this area since 2003. I didn't invent discount services; but the numbers are clear: I am, without a doubt, a "new kind of realtor®."

This is a "new kind of realty" because, compared to the typical 6% commission, I save home sellers $4,860.00 on the sale of an average priced (Source: Albuquerque Journal, 5/27/07) area home. And this is a "new kind of realty" because I don't pocket the entire $7,291.00 commission when I help my buyers purchase that average priced home—instead, my buyers get $1,458.00 from of my commission.
